We're having a snow storm here in Oklahoma City today. We opened the tearoom for a tea party and a bridal shower. I'm so glad we opened because the tea party ended up having a precious story that I'm going to share with you.
Addie Sanders had her 6 year old tea party with us in
March 20, 2004.
This was taken at our old location on Northwest Expressway.

Her father took this picture with Addie because her mom was having labor pains. Her mom Amy actually had her baby sister on Addie's birthday which is March 22nd.

Addie was so cute and I love this picture with her pink boa.

All of Addie's party guests lined up sitting on the bench after the fashion show.

Flash forward to Ellie's 6th birthday party.
March 20, 2010 - Rose Cottage.
Ellie is the baby girl that Addie's mom was going into labor with at Addie's party.

Ellie was born on the same day as her sister.

Ellie and her mom Amy.

Addie (who is now 12 years old), Ellie and mom.
Her mom said even with the snow it wouldn't deter her from having her daughter's party.
How sweet to have two daughters both born on the same day have their 6th bithday with us at A Spot For Tea. It made my day even with a snow storm. And this is why I love my job.
Happy Birthday Ellie and Addie! Thank you Sanders family for letting us be a part of the celebration.
