High Tea at the Skirvin in the Park Avenue Grill

Yesterday, I got treated to Holiday Tea at the Skirvin Hotel.

This is the beautiful Christmas tree in the foyer of the Skirvin Hilton. They bring the season of giving to life in downtown Oklahoma City with a host of festive events. Prepare to feel the magic in the air as you celebrate the holiday in true style.

By the Christmas tree is a Gingerbread replica of The Overholser Mansion.

These were the different tea choices we had Plum and Market Spice.

Lemon curd and butter for the scones and cookies.

This is our three tiered stand of sandwiches, scones and cookies.

Ann Simonton and Sherry Sloan treated me to tea. They know how much I needed
a relaxing break from all the festivities at our tearoom. It was so nice to be waited on
and treated to tea. Thank you Ann and Sherry for my wonderful Christmas present.
Ann and Sherry are sisters and have worked with me since 2003.
They are like family (second moms) to me.

Silver teapot and teacup.

It was wonderful to be in the old hotel again. It is truly a landmark of Oklahoma City.
They have other events all through the holidays including New Year's at the Skirvin and a New Year's Day Brunch in the Park Avenue Grill. Enjoy downtown during the holidays.
You know it is always fun for me to try out different tea experiences in our city.
This was a classic.
