Reunions at the Tearoom

Summer Weekend at the tearoom...one to remember.
Pictured above is my sorority sister and old college roomate LeighAnn Lockard with her daughter Haleigh who is in highschool. She also has another daughter in college at OSU.
Doesn't seem possible that she should have a daughter in college when it seems just yesterday
we were in college ourselves.
Four classmates that graduated from Kiowa High School in 1947.
They hadn't all been together in 61 years.
Lena Pierce, Ila Whitsel, Karlene Richardson and May Nicolosi.

I had so much fun visiting with these four ladies. We had hosted Lena's birthday at our old location and she is a friend and wonderful customer of A Spot For Tea. Imagine my surprise when she told me about these four ladies all getting together at the tearoom for a reunion after 61 years.

Then I had a another wonderful surprise when my old roomate was visiting from Tulsa. We have been friends for almost 25 years now. We were bridesmaids in each other's weddings and try to stay in touch but it seems time just slips away. Thank goodness we have gotten to see each other sooner than 61 years but we never seem to have enough time to really catch up...and it is always too long between visits with one another.

Don't forget to spend time with your old friends and reunite and reminisce. Part of getting together is remembering fun and good times together.

Psalm 90:4 "For a thousand years in Thy sight are like yesterday when it passes by."
