Eric's Bucket List - Cincinnati Reds Game 2011

Eric has always been a Cincinnati Reds baseball fan since the 70's during the Big Red Machine years when they dominated from 1970 to 1976 and won 2 World Series titles. The team then featured baseball great's Johnny Bench (Oklahoma native), Pete Rose, Joe Morgan and Tony Perez.

It had always been Eric's dream to go to the ball park and watch the Reds play baseball so this summer we got to make that happen.

We brought in our gloves just in case and we were not to be disappointed.

The game started off with a homerun....

Blake and Brock

The homerun was hit by Chris Heisey

Congratulations for hitting 2 home runs on big screen

The game ended with the Reds trailing 5 to 4 in the bottom of the 9th.

With a man on first base with two outs Brandon Phillips hit a 2 run game winning walkoff homerun.

The crowd went crazy

They said going nuts on big screen

Including Brock who was very excited

Afterwards we enjoyed fireworks beyond the outfield

Eric got to see a dream come true and it was quite a game for all of us to see.

A memory hopefully the boys will not forget.
